The Ries Brothers To Perform At The Gasparilla Music Festival This Weekend

Clearwater Florida's Two Piece Band The Ries Brothers

Ries Brothers, the recently knighted one of the favorite artists of the past year by Tampa Bay Times and fast rising brother duo from Clearwater Florida will be performing at the Gasparilla Music Festival, downtown Tampa.

This weekend (March 12 & 13, 2016) the two piece rock, blues, funk and reggae band will be performing at the Shea Barclay stage, downtown Tampa alongside Stephen Marley, Erykah Badu, Houndmouth, Damon Fowler and more.

The brother duo is fronted by Charlie Ries who belts the lead vocals while playing drums and keyboard bass. Younger Brother Kevin Ries plays the guitar and provides back up vocals.

The brothers both co-write and perform their original songs. For the past five years they have played their original music and creative covers extensively throughout Central Florida as well as making appearances at the house of blues and Viper Room in Los Angeles.

The band has been garnering a lot of recognition for the past three years. From starting off their first 10 city tour with legendary band CHICAGO to recently sold out three headlining shows at the Ruth Eckerd Hall’s Murray theatre in Clearwater, Florida.

The Ries Brothers have also opened for David Cook, Daughtry, Los lonely boys, REO Speedwagon, Little River Band, The Family Stone among others.

The band would be announcing dates and locations to their upcoming Spring tour soon.

And rumors suggests they are been expected to perform at Coachella.

In the absence of a confirmation about that, here is to hoping to hear more on this.
